Don\'t buy anything exotic. The cheap "Tradco" stuff you can pick up occasionally at Value Village is more than adequate. Don\'t make a big ol\' mess with the stuff, just use a drop. After a couple hours, most of the light oil evaporates leaving just a trace to remain on the threads which will slow corrosion. The above tech tip may sound like an insignificant bit of advice, but I promise that if you keep the can-o-lube handy, and learn to use it, you\'ll be surprized how much straighter, screws and bolts start-in without the tendency to cross-thread and bind.
